Styled Out is from the Denim Color Show Collection by Maybelline. It’s a medium denim blue with lots silver shimmer. It looks like a darker version of Essie’s Smooth Sailing. This formula is very pigmented and was perfect in just one coat. I would recommend a top coat though, it only lasted about a day.
Date in the Moonlight by Essence is a deep navy blue with teal shimmer. The shimmer is subtle but does show up on the nail. I love the large brush, but this formula was a little thick. Two coats works, but I usually do three to make the shimmer more noticeable.
After seeing a handful of swatches of Urban Decay’s Vice, I thought it looked a lot like Chanel’s Taboo. They are similar but not dupes. I would describe Vice as a muted version of Taboo. Taboo is a deeper color and more blue. Also, the sparkle in Taboo is much more intense. And there’s the difference in price…Taboo is $27 and Vice is $15. So if you are not wanting to part with $30 for Taboo, go for Vice at half price. Vice is a gorgeous dark purple with plenty of shimmer. It is a very pigmented and has a smooth formula. Below are Taboo and Vice using one coat.
