This polish is from Blue Cross Beauty Holiday Lights Collection. The polishes from this collection didn’t have specific names. I would describe it as a sheer pale pink with small and medium multi-colored hexagonal shaped glitter. It is very sheer but builds up nicely, and the glitter is easy to work with. However I found that this polish flakes off very easily the next day, so you will need to use good base and top coats with it.
Clearly Spotted is from Maybelline’s Polka Dots Collection for summer. I previously swatched the color Drops of Jade but didn’t like the color on me, so I exchanged it for Clearly Spotted. I love that this looks like paint splatter, but it is also fun to make a jelly sandwich with. Clearly Spotted has a clear base with multi-sized black and white hexagonal shapes (glitter without the shine). The “glitter” is very compact in the polish so it was easy to work with.
Drops of Jade is from Maybelline’s Polka Dots Collection for summer. It is a jade colored jelly base with multi-sized black and white hexagonal shapes. It’s like glitter without the shine. After two coats, it creates a nice jelly sandwich look. I was surprised how easy it was to apply and the “glitter” distributed nicely. I love the idea of these polishes, but the Drops of Jade was not flattering with my skin tone.
Pure Ice’s Freedom is perfect for July 4th! It has a clear base with chunky red and blue hexagonal glitter and silver stars. You’ll need to shake the bottle to get the stars to even out inside. Definitely a dabbing technique is needed for this one.
