Fancy Pants is from the Avant Garden Collection. It’s a blurple with fine pink shimmer. The shimmer is more noticeable in the bottle than on the nail, but it’s still a gorgeous color. With a smooth formula and no streaking, two coats was enough to be completely opaque.
Magnetic polish has been such a big trend in the last year. I didn’t jump at the chance to try it because it sounded too time consuming. Golden Conduct was on clearance at Target for $2, so I decided to buy it. If I didn’t like it, I was only out 2 bucks. Well I am definitely pleasantly surprised. The color is an antique copper and becomes slightly more golden after the magnet is applied. The magnet creates a wave pattern. The picture below shows two coats.
Taboo is from the Revelation de Chanel Collection. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of this every time I saw a swatch of it online. I have never wanted a Chanel polish so badly! But $30! Crazy, I know…. But I dare say this is worth it! I wandered into Nordstrom to try it on, trying to talk myself out of it. But with just one coat, I knew this was going to be my first Chanel polish. I can’t believe this is a one coat polish, but it is. All the pictures below are with one coat. Taboo is hard to describe, but I’ve heard it called ‘galaxy in a bottle’. It shifts from purple to maroon to blue with stunning shimmer of purple and red. I would recommend two coats for maximum color.
